Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using our website or booking services with Bridget's Learning Hub, you confirm that you are over 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent and agree to abide by these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Cancellation & Refund Policy.

2. Description of Services

Bridget's Learning Hub provides tutoring and mentorship services online and in-person, allowing parents and students to connect with qualified tutors, schedule and confirm lessons, and make payments via the platform.

3. User Accounts

You are required to register an account to access our services. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and current information.
• Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• Notify us immediately of unauthorized access to your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts in cases of misuse, fraud, or breach of these Terms.

4. Lesson Bookings

• All lessons must be booked through our official channels and confirmed by both tutor and client.
• No lesson is considered confirmed until proof of payment has been submitted and verified.
• All bookings are subject to tutor availability.
• Lessons may only be scheduled between Sunday and Friday. No lessons will be conducted on Saturdays.
• All lessons must be completed before Friday evening each week.

5. Payments

• All lessons are payable in advance.
• Clients must submit proof of payment to: info@bridgetslearninghub.co.za
• Reference: Initial & surname of the child.
• Lessons will only commence once payment is received and confirmed.
• Please refer to our Cancellation & Refund Policy for full payment, cancellation, and refund procedures.
• No lesson will be confirmed without payment unless prior arrangements are made.

6. Code of Conduct

By using our services, you agree to:

• Treat all tutors, learners, and staff with respect.
• Refrain from abusive, dishonest, or inappropriate behavior.
• Use the platform for lawful, educational purposes only.

7. Suspension or Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any user who violates our policies or engages in misconduct.

8. Intellectual Property

All materials, branding, lesson content, and platform features are the property of Bridget's Learning Hub. You may not reuse, redistribute, or modify any content without our written consent.

9. Tutor Engagement Restriction

Clients agree not to engage any tutor introduced by Bridget's Learning Hub directly or indirectly, either during or after the period of receiving services, without written permission from Bridget's Learning Hub. This clause protects the time and investment we make in recruiting and managing our tutor team.

10. Limitation of Liability

Bridget's Learning Hub is not liable for:

• Missed sessions due to technical issues or poor internet connections on the client's side.
• Any academic outcomes, examination results, or grades.
• Any personal loss, injury, or illness associated with lessons, whether online or in person.

11. Termination of Services

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend services if:

• The client repeatedly cancels or reschedules at short notice.
• Payments are overdue.
• The client violates these Terms or behaves in a manner that is disruptive or abusive.

12. Lesson Schedule

• Tutoring hours are offered between Sunday and Friday only.
• No tutoring is available on Saturdays.
• All lessons must be completed before Friday evening.
• Lessons scheduled outside these days will not be accepted.

13. Time Zone and Scheduling

• All times are managed in South African Standard Time (SAST).
• Clients should book sessions in advance to avoid disappointment during high-demand periods such as exam season.
• Session times are subject to tutor availability.

14. Updates to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Clients will be notified at least one (1) month in advance of any material changes. Continued use of our services after changes indicates acceptance.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
